Democrats have fled the state instead of doing their job — and Texans are STILL paying their salaries. That’s YOUR tax dollars funding a paid vacation in other states.
It’s time to confront our Republican leaders. Tell them to hold Democrats who fled accountable for abandoning their duties! Governor Greg Abbott is telling Texas House Democrats who left the state that if they don’t return to the state and reconvene by 3 p.m. Monday, he will attempt to remove them from their seat. We will be there to pressure Abbott to follow through with his words.
